Waiting times are usually good. The doctor's are all courteous, professional and very helpful. The level of service I have received from here is exceptional.

What a difference going to a proper opticians! Such friendly people and they can't do enough for you. Both me and my husband would highly recommend Duncan and Todd. It was actually a pleasant experience for a change and we'll be staying with them from now on!

I'm writing on behalf of one of my older friends who does not really do internets. He went to Specsavers Arbroath to make an appointment for a suspected cataract. He was taken in immediately and examined and there was a deeper problem with one of his eyes. An appointment was made with the hospital for further investigation on the spot. Due to the impromptu nature of the speed of treatment at Specsavers, he did not have his ID on his person. As he had a dose of eye drops for the examination he was unable to drive home. So one of the members of staff took him all the way back home and then to the hospital for further investigation. This is about a 30 mile round trip. Thank you guys (I think Lisa for the examination and Jamie for the lift) for helping. Above and beyond. Superb performance for a guy in need.
Very slow service. Went for an eye test and waited 25 minutes from actual optician appointment. I had arrived 10 minutes early as requested to have the behind eye photo etc. The optician when seen was very professional. Then I spent 5 minutes (I had been in earlier) to choose glasses. I then had to have measurements taken for these. Again staff very pleasant. From going in as requested to leaving was 1hour 45 minutes. Overall watch your parking if in Abbeygate car park as you only have 2 hours before being slapped with a fine. I went to collect my new glasses after 10 days. One pair has had issues and I now have to go back for them. It took 32 minutes from my arranged appointment to get in and out. That was 25 minutes waiting to be seen. Specsavers really need to look at their appointment system.

Only have good things to say. I have used the hospital for several reasons (X-ray and eye clinic) and we have brought my daughter here on a number of occasions too for out of hours advice and guidance and also ultrasound. The staff have always been lovely, caring and attentive. As with all hospitals and health care centres there can be a wait but this is expected these days? There are only so many doctors and nurses to go round. Organisation has always been good. Findings communicated back to GP or consultant in good time. Thank you. You work as well as you can given the resources and funding you are provided with!
